Michael Essien, 23

Arrested for public indecency (stripping) at a mall while intoxicated. Witnesses report him screaming he was the leader of congress after ripping his shirt off. The individual also withheld details from the police (said his name was Elvis).

When police confiscated his ID and found his real name, it connected to an existing warrant for arrest from an Accra jewellery store robbery case. Here, the suspect reportedly held bystanders at gunpoint to steal a diamond-encursted phallic toy (dildo). No jewellery was reported missing.

Prosecutors are alleging that Michael was responsible for both stripping in public this past Saturday and the shiny toy robbery from March. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
